That's all very true, and render with higher resolution and then reduce the image size will reach your goal much faster. BUT: the 'Max Samples' has nothing to do with it, or better, it will not help to render faster - so it could be self-defeating to set the 'Max Samples' too low.
As clarification: Like many confusing terms in DAZ3d, the 'Max Samples' stands for the MAXIMUM ITERATIONS, actually. In other words, reducing the 'Max Samples' to the half is just like you stop the rendering now at 50 percent. And note: the render will definitely stop at the point of 'Max Samples' (aka the max. itertaions) no matter if the 'Max Time' is adjusted to a longer time!!!!! And then the image is 100% coverged, but '100% converged' doesnt mean 100% quality!!!!!
The 'Max Samples' option is good for test rendering first and foremost for animation, meaning for preview the character moves and the illumination of the scene. But for still images, if you want to reach a specific quality you should set the 'Max Samples' as high as possible and then stop the render manually when it looks good enough for you, otherwise the render could maybe stop before the image will reach the quality level you want - especially with very dark scenes - and you will not be able to resume a render after it reached 100%.

I'm just curious, do you have 'Use Selected Lights' selected under the lighting menu? The reason it is not showing up may be because lights are disabled under 'Show'.

Are you sure you have lights enabled under 'Show'? Have you tried the default quality renderer?
Have you created a new camera that you are looking out of?

Jp sauer sohn royal shotgun forum reviews. It certainly WAS a good gun but the soundness of the barrels should be tested before shooting.Take off the barrells and hold them by the extractor and very rear of the chambers. Let the muzzles hang down. Now, tap the barrels with a plastic mallet. That should deaden any rattle between the only moveable parts of the barrel.
